Well that time of year is upon us already, yes time sure does fly! With tryouts next week I just wanted to reach out about a few things.
Tryouts are closed to everyone except coaches. Please respect this rule as myself and the coaches work to pick the right kids for each team and level. Tryouts are already stressful for everyone, even the parents, lets work together on this.
Kids will be placed on the team that will best suit their abilities and development. As we strive to put teams together that can compete at the highest levels we also want the kids to be in an environment where they can develop appropriately. We also look at attitude and work ethic as factors for making a team.
We are looking at fielding the following teams, levels will be determined following tryouts. One Bantam Gold/Silver, Pee Wee Gold, Pee Wee Silver/Bronze, Squirt Gold/Silver, Squirt Bronze and Mite Silver. Depending on the numbers we may also field a Mite Bronze team, again I won’t be able to make that call until we see the numbers at tryouts.
Rosters will be posted on-line Saturday night, Sept 10th, with practices starting on the 11th.
