Evanston Hockey House Program
The Evanston Hockey house program serves players from 8U (Mites) through 14U (Bantams) who are interested in playing on a team, and typically want to play on weekends. The house league emphasizes skill development and fun with volunteer coaches, typically parents. (Click here to confirm your child's level by birth year.).
8U (Mites) have in-house games and practices while 10U (Squirts) and older compete in the North Shore Youth Hockey League (NSYHL) against other North Shore programs.
- House hockey practices are 1-1.5 hours per week, typically on the weekend, with about 15-25 games and possibly 1-2 local tournaments during the course of the season.
- Every effort is made to create competitively balanced teams, as mandated by NSYHL.
House hockey starts in September, including a pre-season camp, and ends in March, typically with a two-week break during the winter holidays.
Evanston Hockey works hard to keep season fees steady. House hockey fees are announced in advance of sign-ups with discounts available for goalies and multiple siblings.

Practices typically begin in mid-September at Robert Crown Center, and the schedule for all teams can be found on evanstonhockey.com. You can view the master calendar to see the schedule by week or you can view individual team schedules on the team pages. To stay current, you can download the most up-to-date schedule, which would include any changes as they happen, to your mobile devices and online calendars by clicking on the "options" drop down menu on each team's page. If you have more than one player, you can access multiple schedules by clicking on one of the team's pages and then clicking on "multi-schedule" where you have the ability to select more than one team to view schedules simultaneously.
