Varsity EYHA is proud to have Jaisen Freeman as head coach of the ETHS Varsity team. Jaisen, 26, played college hockey for the Ohio State Buckeyes between 1997 and 2001,
where he lettered all four years and captained the team his senior year. While at Ohio State, Jaisen was named to the CCHA All-Academic team as well as the Academic All-Big 10 team.
While attending graduate school Jaisen was the Head Coach of the Columbus Youth Jackets youth hockey teams.
While Jaisen had coaching opportunities with other Chicago-area youth hockey teams, he was atracted to the diversity of the ETHS hockey program, as well as the opportunity to
engineer a turnaround of a team that has struggled the last two seasons. EYHA believes that Jaisen's hockey experience along with his natural leadership skills and emphasis on development
of the complete student-athlete makes him an outstanding role model for our players.

Jr Varsity Don Howard is returning as head coach of the Junior Varsity team this season. Don, who took over the JV coaching reins midway during last season, has been active in
Evanston hockey as a player and then as a coach, and his dedication to Evanston hockey has been unwavering.
Although a strict taskmaster, Don is very popular with his players and their parents, who along with EYHA recognize Don's commitment to his teams.
