EYHA House League is a fun, affordable ice hockey program for players at every level — from beginners to more experienced players who are working on taking their game to the next level. The goal of House League is to provide young players with an enjoyable, constructive experience that focuses on skating fundamentals, hockey skills, teamwork and a solid understanding of the game.
The Evanston House Mite program follows the American Development Model (ADM) as outlined by USA Hockey. The emphasis of the ADM is on skill development, and players will develop those skills through a combination of small-ice games, skill-oriented practice stations, and cross-ice scrimmages. The House Mite program is all “in-house” which means that we typically fo not play other organizations, save for some special events that may come up during the season. At several points during the season we expect to hold full-ice games for our mite teams.

Prerequisites:
At the discretion of the coaching staff, beginners may be required to participate in prerequisite classes before joining House League.
For the upcoming 2011 /2012 season, players must be born in 2003 or later
